- I my high profile CTRL keyboard arrived yesterday and I love it. I run macOS though, and would like to get a backlit keycap with the macOS command icon that matches the stock slate keycaps.
- By pressing certain key combinations, you can do things that normally need a mouse, trackpad, or other input device. To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys.
- Not all keyboards are available in all countries or regions.
- You can see where characters are located on keyboards for various languages, including what characters are produced when using the shift and option keys by following the instructions in About Keyboard Viewer.
- Apple notebook built-in keyboards do not include a numeric keypad, and may have slight variations.
- MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) and later and MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and later have the Touch Bar in place of physical function keys.

For example, about a week ago my shift key went stiff, and I couldn't press it down, as though there were something stuck underneath. A few days later it was my square bracket ('[') key. Tonight it was the tab key. It only ever seems to effect 1 key at a time, and only ever for an hour or less.
When it's stiff, I just can't seem to fix it. I try shaking the MBP, pressing down hard, blowing it, etc, but it won't budge.
Is this a common problem? I recently got my optical drive changed and I wonder if they left something inside. I don't hear anything rattling around though.
Any ideas what it could be? I'm more curious than anything else.
