Even if models changed the firmware was kept very consistent. Manage your Wi-Fi network from your devices. With the AirPort Utility app on your iOS and iPadOS devices, you can set up and monitor your network from your devices as easily as you can from your Mac. Pick your Mac's hard-drive on which your Mac OS is installed from the options on the left side of the screen, (this is your startup disk) then choose Edit and then Delete APFS Volume from the menu bar Go to the tabs at the top of the screen and click Erase.
